About
In late 2020, the Hood Theological Seminary was awarded a $1,000,000 five year grant from the Lily Foundation to create The Congregational Faith and Learning Center (TCFLC). Rooted in the Word of God, the Center seeks build thriving churches that “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). The Center will provide unique training and faith engagement directly to congregations. Our key deliverables are:
- Develop congregational coaches
- Offer hands on training (for laity and clergy)
- HTS / congregation / practitioner / community collaboration
- Congregational / church related research to identify and share best practices / community resources
- Holistic, self-care support
Each of these deliverables seeks to help churches “thrive” in ministry. To learn more about The Congregational Faith and Learning Center, go to faithlearnthrive.org.
