Hood Theological Seminary (HTS) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor of New Testament rank. Primary responsibilities will be teaching two courses in two tracks each fall and spring semester at the Masters’ level and conducting relevant research/scholarly activities in the field and offering meaningful service to the campus and community. Minimum qualifications include Ph.D. by August 2021, potential for excellence in classroom instruction, willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, and commitment to the Seminary’s institutional mission. HTS also offers hybrid and online course delivery therefore, experience or certification in online instruction is desired. Semester teaching load is two courses in Track I (each course meets Tues., Wed., or Thurs.) that are repeated in Track II (Fri. or Sat.) (i.e., four courses, two preps).
Position involves advisement of Doctor of Ministry professional projects as needed.
