Candidate Profile:

- Member of the AMEZ Church preferred. Member of the African Methodist tradition acceptable.
- Commitment to the rigor and expectations without “a hint, intention, or word of decreasing standards of excellence to increase the crowd.”
- Committed and capable of preparing leaders for the challenges and evolution of theological education in the Church and the world.
- Ability to minister and articulate the theological context to the Church.
- Shows understanding and acceptance of preparing graduates who are first in the marketplace.
- Documentation of an ability to gather and engage public discourse.
- Documented success in attracting donors to ensure financial viability for the Seminary.
- Understanding that failure is not an option.
