Bishop George E. Battle, Jr. Makes a Faith Statement

Bishop George E. Battle, Jr., Senior Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, leads and conducts his ministry with absolute clarity. He recently made an act of faith which extends beyond his deep sense of spirituality and into a theological institution which helped train him to be a bold theological leader. Bishop Battle recently contributed $52,000 toward a future chapel at Hood Theological Seminary. This contribution is both visionary and is a reflection of his firm belief that a chapel should be at the heart of a first-class seminary. This unique contribution is also consistent with Bishop Battle's leadership and loyalty as a distinguished alumnus of Hood Theological Seminary.
